Female Angel Tattoos?

Posted by Tattooaholic

female angel tattoosI am looking for an angel tattoo. I want a female, young, long blonde, curly hair. She has to look beautiful and innocent. I want it to look like the wind is blowing all around her, with little flowers blowing around her as well. I have looked at all of these tattoo sites and I can’t find anything like what I am looking for. Can anyone help me?

Inspiring Angel Tattoos – Great Angel Tattoos You Can Choose

Angel tattoos are popular for a variety of reasons. For some they offer protection, for others they inspire, and for yet others the beauty and form are something they want for their very own.  Angels have always been viewed as messengers of a divine being. Many religions and faiths have this image of a human-like creature of light. Often winged with super-human abilities, these beings are inspired to help or protect people. Christianity, Islam, Latter Day Saints, Bahai Faith, Hinduism and mysticism all have some representation of angels.

Because of these beliefs, there are many forms of angels to use for tattoo images. Cherubs might be the most often considered image for tattoos. They are thought of as the messengers of lovers and love.  They are often seen in tattoos as chubby boys with curly hair carrying a bow and arrows.  They have smaller wings than many of the other angel representations.

Tattoos of archangels are often misunderstood, unless a script is added with names or explanation. They are shown as human forms often holding a large sword their wings expanded and ready for flight.

Guardian angel tattoos are what the archangel tattoos are often mistaken for because the depiction is so close. Guardian angels are considering protectors either of individuals or all of humanity.  The tattoos often represent them in human form holding or keeping watch over children.  Guardian angels look much like archangels in appearance.

A fallen angel is a far darker fodder for tattoo art.  The fallen angel is often seen as a glorious angel holding a bloody sword.  Various other tattoos show torn wings, or wounded angels with haunted eyes.  These images are meant to be inked heavily and present a much darker image. The fallen angel tattoo is favored by bikers, Goths and alternative believers.

Fallen angels should not be confused with the tattoo of the grieving angel.  This angel is much like the statues seen in cemeteries protecting a grave.  These tattoos are shown crying, or with their wings wrapped around them or over their heads as they demonstrate expressions of sorrow.  This tattoo is typically done in remembrance of a lost love one, but can also be used to show loss or feelings of isolation.

Very detailed work such as the archangels or guardian angels needs to be given a lot of space. The smaller cherubs need less space and go on the inside of the arm, bicep, small of back or even an ankle or wrist.  A fallen angel is usually found at the small of back, chest or abdomen.  A grieving angel can best be inked for the shoulder or bicep or upper arm.
