If you have darkle complexion better not to use reds, oranges etc, and go for blues and greens. An accomplished artist will know the best options and advise you.. As to sebastian's comment about single needle and details.. too much detail in small area is going to result in a mush after a few years. Better to keep it simple and use contrast, color and shade to pick out the effect. Tattoo is not compatible with miniature details. Maybe it looksgood for a year or so but it all washes together later. I have red, purple, pink and orange (mainly) I have pretty fair skin and the red and pink pop the most. People constanly comment on the color of those two flowers. If you have fair skin I'd go with cool shades, purple, blue, pink etc. Those colors will work best with your complexion. If you are warm tone, then yellows, reds & oranges will look best. It's almost like picking out make-up that matches your complexion. ;-) Your artist should be able to get tons of detail into your flowers at that size. Especially if he goes down to a single needle.
