This software is loaded with tattoo ideas and style and you basically tell the program what you are trying to create. From there you can pick and choose other parts of tattoos and place them together as you like. With tattoo software you should be able to come up with something very unique and personal to yourself.

You will want to first think about the overall appearance of your tattoo and what you are trying to show off. Where will your tattoo be place? This is important on determining what kind and style of tattoo you will go with. One of the main reasons is not all tattoos will fit on specific parts of that body. If you want a large tattoo or a tattoo design that needs more detail, you will have to pick a place that is large enough to handle the tattoo design.

Finger Tattoos Send A Clear Message

flame finger tattooFinger Tattoos Send A Clear Message

Sending out a strong message with body art is best possible with finger tattoo designs.  You can spell out exactly what you mean using your fingers as you can with almost no other type of tattoos.  There are several different types of finger tattoos and many finger tattoo designs from which to choose.

One of the most common finger tattoo designs is lettering.  You can spell out a name, initials, sayings or mottos on your fingers.  This was not always a popular place to get tattoos. Up until the late 1990s when hip hop and rap artists along with other celebrities really became passionate about tattoos and magazine photos showed them sporting finger designs did the public take an interest in getting the art themselves.

Lettering on the hands or fingers was only seen in prisons or among bikers, but these days they are just as likely to be seen on college campus dorms or at upscale hotspots.  Lettering tattoos for finger designs can be in just about any font depending on the size of the hand in question.  Fonts can be hollow or filled in with ink and multi-colors are of course possible.  To add contrast to a letter tattoo, use one color ink for the outline and another to fill it in.  Letter tattoos can be added to with various color backgrounds or images such as stars, flowers, vines and Celtic or Tribal designs. Common words which might be chosen to display a person motto or ‘love’, ‘hope’, or ‘God’.

Some people have the name of a lost love one or friend permanently inscribed on their finger as a way of saying the deceased still guides their hands.  These designs can also be complimented with other small designs such as a cross or dove symbol.

The nice thing about a finger design tattoo is the visibility. Just like a real piece of jewelry it is always where other people can see and admire it.  The only problem is tattoos on the finger can be very hard, if not impossible, to hide or cover up unless they are very small.  Still, with this type of tattoo you have a personal and constant reminder of something or someone who is important to you.

Lower Back Tattoos Are Related To Tramp Stamp Tattoos?

Posted by Tattooaholic

lower back tattoosLower back tattoos became very popular in the late 1990s. They are far more popular among women than men. These tattoos are usually designed to be sexy or feminine and these tattoos in particular have drawn some criticism as being ‘tramp stamps’ or indicating a willingness to be sexually active.  These critics are of course people who know very little about tattooing or body art. People get their tattoos in various locations of their body for their own reason and for anyone else to make such generalizations are of course ridiculous.

There are many reasons that lower back tattoos are popular including the fact that even though the small of the back isn’t the largest place on a person’s back it does have a lot of space on a relative smooth area almost free of bone.  This area won’t be stretched later in pregnancy as the abdomen and stomach will, and it can be easily covered or displayed depending on what clothing is worn.  This is a low risk area for a tattoo to get an infection. Over all there are many pluses to getting a lower back tattoo.

Owning to the shape and space available in this area a Celtic cross is a good choice for this spot.  There’s space for the detail and the shape will be very dramatic here. There’s room in this area to even put in names in A Celtic script or even personal mottos. A Celtic knot wouldn’t be a bad choice here either.

Tribal tattoos can be placed on the lower back and look even more exotic than they usually do on other spots of the body.  Tribal tattoos are stylized representations of various tribal designs that have been seen for centuries.  These designs have been passed down for generations and have deep meanings. These designs can be used in dramatic combinations like Greek gods, wolves, horses, tigers, snakes, images of fire, scorpions, coiled dragon and really any mythological beast or idea.  Angelina Jolie, famous Hollywood actress has a highly detailed and stylized tiger on her lower back.

Softer images work well here as well.  Butterflies can be etched with detail and grace you wouldn’t have space for on the shoulder or wrist.  There can be done in pastel shades of light green, blue, pink, grey, orange, or purple then outlined in darker shades like red, dark blue, green, and black.

Lower back tattoos such as the flower work well too for the same reason. You can have a flowing vine, or single blossom depending on what you want to convey. Very popular on the lower back is the rose which indicates love, water lily to indicate a pure heart, a daisy meaning an innocent nature, and a hibiscus to show you are a delicate and intricate beauty.

You can also simply use lettering on the lower back with mottos or sayings in scripts or various fonts.
