How Do You Feel About Lettering Tattoos?

Posted by Tattooaholic

How do you feel about getting words or phrases tattooed on you forever? I think it’s kinda a bad idea. You might regret lettering as your views change. How do you feel about this? I was just interested about these lettering tattoos because I have a friend who just got his last name tattooed on his back. It looks great but I don’t think its something I could ever get.

Name Tattoos – Tattoos of Children Names

Posted by Tattooaholic

last name tattoosName Tattoos – Tattoos of Children Names

What you need to consider while choosing your name tattoo.

There are a few elements that you should consider first before choosing your name tattoo design. The first thing you need to determine is that you should not get a name tattoo if you feel you will change your mind later on. If you get a name tattoo based on a relationship, you will want to be certain that, that relationship is for life. Having a name tattooed on your body, unless if it is your own, will be a huge decision. Many guys have been getting their last name tattooed on their back, between their shoulder blades to represent their family and its heritage.

The most popular name tattoos that people get are children names. Having tattoos of children names is not only very popular but also significant for the parent who is getting their child’s name tattooed on their body. Even women are getting name tattoos on their bodies and footprints to represent their children. Mothers who want to get a meaningful tattoo will choose to get tattoos of their children’s names tattooed on their arms and even on their backs or sides.

Determine what font you want your name tattoo to have as the font will show a uniqueness of your tattoo. Fonts are an important part of the name tattoo and even finding the best font will take time and effort. There are many fonts to choose from, from traditional scripts, printing, cartoonish, and even modern fonts. You can always consult your tattoo artist for more ideas and fonts to choose for your new name tattoo or for your tattoos of your children’s names.

The Art of Names in Tattoos

Posted by Tattooaholic

name tattoosIt is natural to think it would be easy to find a good tattoo design for something as simple as a name.  Sadly, this is never the case. The vast majority of people who want to get a name tattoo will only find the same old letter styles and patterns that everyone else has. Fortunately, there are ways to avoid this problem, and this article will point out some ways to do just that.

Too many people just settle for a tattoo, even when not completely sure about the design. There is no good reason for this. A tattoo is a lifetime decision and no one should ever get one that is not the perfect personal design.  Regret about a tattoo is regret that will remain for life, and will return again each time that tattoo is viewed. The extra time spent to find a good tattoo is time well spent. It is important to be happy with any permanent art placed upon the body. This is easier said than done.

Most of those who take the time to look for a good name tattoo design will never find one that is satisfactory. This is not because of a lack of good shops out there; it is because the method for looking just does not work. Finding the right shop for a name tattoo in a search engine is the wrong way to go about it.  This is the reason why those who look only see the same generic designs over and over again.

The best galleries simply do not turn up on the top of search engines – why is something of a mystery, but the why does not really matter. The point is that another way to find the right tattoo artist needs to be found. Forums are just the answer to finding that perfect artist. They are the perfect source of information, providing not only examples, but feedback from forum goers, especially on the bigger sites.

The forums provide first-hand accounts and images of real tattoos and the reviews and comments of both the people who got the tattoos and those who inked them. People who have good tattoos love to share their experiences, so there will never be a lack of examples of a good place to get a name tattoo. They also know how difficult it is to find a quality name tattoo and are willing and eager to help others find the perfect artwork for them.

There is no need at all to settle for a generic and boring name tattoo. Body art such as that is something that will be there for life, so make sure it is something that you will never get tired of seeing. Take some time and find the right forums and talk to the right people. Look around in the less obvious places and see what the world of tattoo artists truly has to offer. Turn something that may be a regrettable decision into something that will be admired for a lifetime.
