Washing Off Temporary Tattoos

The great thing about temporary tattoos is that, well they are temporary. They can be washed off after you have worn them for a period of time. Usually temporary tattoos do not last more than just a few days before they start to look tacky. Using soap and water might not work as well as you would hope for with temporary tattoos. Even though they are temporary, they still need to be strong enough to last on the human body for a few days, otherwise they would be very cheap and no one would bother wearing them. If you have tried to use soap and water and that has not worked, the next step would be to use rubbing alcohol or astringent. Rubbing alcohol might do the trick to get the temporary tattoo off, but you need to be careful to not over use the alcohol, otherwise you might see a sin rash or irritation develop.

Another product you can use to try to get the temporary tattoo off is baby oil. Its best to warm it up first before using the baby oil, but then gently apply it to the skin. The use of baby oil not only helps get the temporary tattoo off, but it also conditions the skin so there is little to no irritation. Using baby oil does not work the best and sometimes depending on the brand and type of temporary tattoo, it might not work well at all. Sometimes it just takes scrubbing the tattoo hard to get the ink off then leaving the skin alone to allow it to relax.

Sometime it takes the rough products and rubbing of the skin to get some temporary tattoos off. If you really want to be gentle with your skin, then you can always just leave the tattoo on and let it gradually come off over time.
