Why Do People Get Full Body Tattoos, They Are Totally Ugly

I cannot see the attraction in marking up your body with ugly markings. I have never seen a tattoo that is attractive. Well, ok, maybe like a small rose flower or something benign. But those entire arms, chest, torso covering tattoos are just plain ugly to me.
Opinions or explanations of why they are obtained would be interesting to me.

December 18th, 2009 at 10:08 pmI just like to think what they will look like in 40 years. There will be a bunch of faded stretched out old guys and old ladies running around- gross.
I personally have never seen an attractive tattoo. I think they all look gross. I told my sister if there is ever anything she want on my body so badly she would make it permanent she should take a sharpie or some paint and redo it every couple of days. if it lasts more than a month before it loses it novelty or you find times you wish you didn’t have it then MAYBE consider getting it tattooed.

i will never visit this page againit appears that you all are a bunch of ignorant idiots. although i do not personally enjoy this tattoo, i love full body tattooing (both traditional japanese and american)
jacob says he has never liked a single tattoo. to say this is to say you have never really even looked at tattoos. or it is to say i hate art. this is supposed to be a tattoo website? how can the producer of a tattooing website say they dont like tattoos.

January 26th, 2010 at 3:13 amThat’s not far off good advice. I think you really should think it through before you get it done. It will be there forever. As for the age thing, we’ll all look stretched and wrinkly, i dont think a tattoo will make a difference.
It’s a personal preference. I have the majority of my torso done, i dont tell people, i dont get it out, only my close friends and girlfriend know. It’s for me to be fair. But i dont think you should judge people because they like this kind of thing, if you dont, then dont get it! You certainly know if you’re going to regret it at some point down the road.
I often see really young kids and wonder what they are doing when they have there hands tattoo’d etc, because it will really affect your job. I think the main question here as to trying to understand why people get them. You basically wont if you dont already get it, and thats no different to not being into baking cakes!
